Salary – £18k basic with a £27k plus OTE
Our client is looking for experienced Cruise Consultants who have experience of selling luxury cruises and long haul tailor-made holidays. There is the opportunity to earn fantastic OTE through base salary and sales commission. A great part of the role is the benefit of discounted holidays! You must have a cruise sales background and have experience of converting cruise enquiries into cruises of a lifetime for your clients. We need you to be dynamic and tailor extras for example flights and hotels with the cruise. You must have the ability to deconstruct and rebuild complete cruise itineraries for demanding clients. Our client needs a cruise expert that has worked for cruise companies in the past and has experience of selling complex cruises and can jump straight into the team.
Responsibilities:
- Maximize sales opportunities for cruise holidays
- Provide expert advice to suit the customer needs
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the cruise industry and market to customers
- Pro-actively match customer requests to their extensive range of cruise and other products
- Maximizing all opportunities for the perfect holiday experience
Key Skills/Experience Needed:
- Highly motivated individual with good destination knowledge and passion for travel
- Experience in sourcing and booking tailor-made holidays
- Working knowledge of GDS, preferably on Galileo
- Proven record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Knowledge of net fares in cruise as well as tailor-made long haul holidays
- Strong communication skills with the ability to provide service to our customers through varied methodology – i.e. face to face, by telephone and by e-mail
- Ability to work under own supervision or as part of a team
