Reports to: Media Account Director and Media Account Manager

Key Duties

To support AKA’s Media Planning and Strategy Team in their roles of planning, buying, running and reporting on campaigns.

General Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to facilitate team workflow and aid the rest of the Media Planning and Strategy Team.
  • Contribute to creation of post-campaign reports, data analysis, and insight to inform recommendations for future campaigns.
  • Initiate and develop relationships with media owners.
  • Assist with the execution and management of media campaign bookings, copy supply, and sourcing in-situ examples.
  • Use agency and industry standard planning tools including TGI, Touchpoints, YouGov, Mediatel, and Nielsen to generate data necessary for the structure and substantiation of campaign planning.
  • Utilize internal resources to further own knowledge and understanding of all areas of the general media mix.
  • Act as a positive ambassador for the Media Planning and Strategy Team and the wider agency both internally and externally.

Desirable personal skills

  • A minimum of 6 months’ experience working in a similar agency environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of attention to detail are key to this role.
  • Must have strong numeracy and literacy skills as well as knowledge of the Windows suite of tools including PowerPoint and Excel.
