Production Supervisor – Food Manufacturing (Non-Meat)

ISQ Recruitment is working with a growing food manufacturing business in Norfolk, looking to appoint a Production Supervisor to join their day shift team. This is a hands-on role, supporting and leading a small team of colleagues on the shop floor. Please note: this is a non-meat, non-poultry facility with high food hygiene and safety standards.

About the Role

As Production Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that daily production runs smoothly—helping manage staff, maintain quality standards, and keep everything on track from start to finish. You’ll be working alongside your team, leading by example and playing an active role in planning, problem-solving, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily production activity and ensure shift plans are met
  • Allocate tasks and support operatives throughout the shift
  • Monitor product quality, hygiene, and safe working practices
  • Complete daily paperwork and basic reporting
  • Provide on-the-job guidance and support to team members
  • Maintain a clean, well-organised, and safe production area

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Experience in food production, FMCG, or a fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • Confident leading a small team and staying hands-on
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Comfortable completing production records and paperwork
  • Own transport due to the location and shift times

Desirable:

  • Previous experience as a supervisor or team lead in a production environment
  • Aware of food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
  • Experience with stock, materials, or production planning
