Taylor Root is working with a private equity backed business in the infrastructure space working across energy, rail, aviation, telecoms, and water. Headquartered in the UK, the company are highly acquisitive and currently employ over 10,000 people. Due to a recent acquisition, the General Counsel is currently looking to hire a mid-level lawyer who has infrastructure and non-contentious construction experience.

You’ll be working closely with commercial stakeholders to review, negotiate and draft a range of contractual documents. They need someone with strong transactional experience and someone who has knowledge of NEC contracts. This is an interim role that will start on an initial 3-month Fixed Term Contract, but there is potential to extend. The role can be fully remote.

Experience required:

  • Qualified solicitor in England and Wales, or common-law jurisdiction, with c. 4+ years’ post qualification experience.
  • Solid transactional/non-contentious experience with knowledge of NEC contracts.
  • Sector experience across infrastructure or engineering projects would be helpful.
