We are currently working with a leading Legal 500 firm in Reading that is looking for a talented Charities Lawyer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Charities lawyer or a lawyer with experience in Private Client and Trust work to become part of a supportive team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage a set of client cases, ensuring they are handled efficiently and effectively.
- Process client matters in a timely manner, keeping costs under control.
- Uphold the firm's professional standards and meet quality expectations.
- Keep clients well-informed about the range of services available at the firm.
- Contribute to the firm's business development efforts, including networking and promoting services.
- Ensure clients' needs are met with excellent service and attention to detail.
The successful candidate:
- 0-3 years' PQE, but open to candidates with more experience if they meet the role's needs.
- Experience advising on setting up charities, mergers, and partnerships.
- Able to advise senior teams, boards, and trustees, with support when needed.
- Comfortable training clients and speaking at events.
- Skilled in drafting and reviewing contracts, including fundraising and grant agreements, and offering advice on Charity Law.
- Eager to get involved in networking and business growth.
- Driven to help grow the practice area and take on a key role within the firm.
