Plant Operations Hire Controller – Speedy Implant based at Speedy HQ, Manchester (WA12 0JQ) employed by Jarvie Plant, supporting our partner’s operations.
About the Role: We’re excited to offer an opportunity to join Jarvie Plant as a Hire Controller – Implant, based on-site at Speedy HQ in Manchester, working closely with our key partner. As an implant role, you’ll be fully embedded at our partner’s location, serving as the dedicated point of contact for Jarvie Plant. You’ll collaborate daily with both the partner’s team and Jarvie’s internal teams, ensuring the delivery of efficient and reliable hire services. This setup enables you to build strong relationships, respond swiftly to needs, and take full ownership of the hire process from start to finish, making a real impact. How This Role Supports the Delivery of Hire Solutions:
- Customer Service & Communication: Be the main point of contact for Jarvie Plant at Speedy HQ. Respond to customer enquiries, resolve concerns, and provide regular updates. Build strong relationships and support evolving customer needs.
- Hire Coordination: Manage the full hire lifecycle — from enquiry to equipment return. Prepare contracts, quotations, and updates accurately and on time. Negotiate rates within frameworks and support operational excellence using InspHire.
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Work closely with partner teams and Jarvie Plant colleagues in transport, sales, and operations. Record and manage client requirements using the CRM to support joined-up service delivery. Help streamline communication and ensure consistent service across both businesses.
- Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure all hire equipment meets safety regulations. Provide safety and operating guidance to customers. Keep accurate records of transactions and contribute to performance tracking.
