BAE Systems are currently seeking a highly motivated Inventory Controller to join the team supporting the maintenance of Typhoon aircraft. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accurate control and movement of aircraft spares and assets throughout the maintenance lifecycle — from goods inward to delivery against schedule.
The Job:
- Manage and record the movement of aircraft spares and assets across maintenance stages.
- Ensure accurate data input into manual registers, TMF Logs, IMS systems, and MJDI/Maintenix platforms.
- Maintain strict physical control of all aircraft parts and spares, including Vertical Storage Units.
- Ensure full compliance with Mil Pt 145 regulations at all times.
- Investigate or escalate inventory discrepancies to support continuous maintenance flow.
- Register all assets received or dispatched through the TMF Logistics Regulator.
- Perform inventory transfers and system transactions in line with business processes.
Skills:
- Experience in inventory or logistics control, ideally in a defence or aviation environment.
- Strong attention to detail with proven data entry accuracy.
- Familiarity with Mil Pt 145 standards and inventory systems (e.g. MJDI, Maintenix).
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication and reporting skills.
