Netsuite Accountant (Asset Accounting Focus)

Introduction to the Position

We are working with a leading SAAS company in the finance space to find a qualified Accountant with expertise in asset accounting, particularly in a NetSuite environment. As the company is nearing the completion of its NetSuite rollout (migrating from SAP), they are expanding their accounting team and seeking a talented individual to support both accounting functions and the implementation of the new system.

This is an exciting opportunity for those who enjoy working in a complex and evolving accounting environment, with the chance to play a pivotal role in system embedding and continuous improvement.

You will be part of a team of six, reporting on various areas such as GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Commissions, and Projects. The position requires 3 days onsite in the City of London. The salary range for this role is £60,000 – £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and review of balance sheet accounts, focusing on Fixed Assets.
• Help embed the new NetSuite system and refine processes for financial operations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting under IFRS.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Contribute to system enhancements and continuous improvement efforts for NetSuite implementation.
• Act as a key point of contact for NetSuite-related accounting queries.
• Support the implementation of new accounting processes and controls.

Desired Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/AAT, or part-qualified).
• Prior experience working with NetSuite (ideally at a Super-user level or close).
• Strong knowledge and experience in IFRS reporting.
• Experience in managing balance sheet accounts, with an emphasis on Fixed Assets.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, complex accounting environment.
• Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
• Experience in SAAS or similar industries is desirable.
