The predicted salary is between 38000 - 43000 £ per year.

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Business Partner to join our Procurement team. You will share our values , commitment, and motivation to make a difference for our residents, clients, and communities.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Business Partner to work with and support a wide range of the council\’s directorates and service teams, delivering expert commercial advice and guidance.

You will ensure:

  • effective procurement strategies are developed
  • compliant procurements are undertaken
  • procurements are in line with the council\’s standing orders, legislation and sustainable procurement good practice.

About you

This is an important role in our Procurement Team and we are seeking an experienced professional, with the knowledge, commitment and drive to deliver effective procurement solutions.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • have experience of delivering a range of procurement solutions, working with multiple stakeholders
  • possess strong communication and report writing skills
  • have an ability to challenge in an effective manner
  • need to be able to work well independently, as a member of a team and be able to lead a team
  • be focussed on solutions with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence
  • have a desire for continuous professional/personal development
