My client is a global lifestyle travel management company which operates both as a travel agent and tour operator. They are recruiting an experienced Sales & Operations Manager. We are looking for a manager that has tour operator and luxury travel experience; you must be used to implementing change. We need someone that is flexible and likes a challenge. You will be responsible for streamlining sales and helping the business grow and be more structured. You must be prepared to assist with making the business as profitable as possible in terms of margins. You will also be overseeing the sales teams in New York, Hong Kong, and Russia. The company is growing and will need you to assist with the setup and running of new offices in Spain, Geneva, and Dubai. The role involves you being a member of the senior management team working alongside the FD and CEO.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse sales and guest ratings
  • Streamline the range, focusing on the best performing and negotiate commercial terms
  • Contract and price hotels, villas, and chalets
  • Adapt sales and marketing strategies for international markets to reach a global client base
  • Manage and train the team of contract managers, travel consultants, and marketing personnel
  • Motivate the sales team to hit demanding sales targets
