Requirements

  • Expatriate tax specialist with 4 years+ experience in expatriate tax
  • Ideally, the candidate will have experience of both compliance and advisory work
  • Tax return review experience is an advantage but is not necessary
  • Ability to conduct tax arrival and departure briefings without supervision
  • Experience of managing expatriate engagements, including being the key client relationship contact
  • Experience of managing expatriate tax and social security advisory projects
  • Working knowledge of international social security
  • Good reporting writing skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients via email, telephone and meetings
  • Pro-active and organised
  • Ambitious and keen to progress

Responsibilities

  • Managing the delivery of advisory projects, including managing and reviewing the work of junior staff
  • Managing the expatriate tax return process across a large number of clients
  • Co-ordinating overseas network in the delivery of work
  • Attending meetings and driving follow-up actions
  • Managing the client billing process
  • Developing relationships with client contacts and assignees
  • Supporting marketing and business development initiatives
  • Supporting the team Director on expatriate tax compliance and advisory matters
