COMMITTED AND SELF-MOTIVATED MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN OR MECHANICAL ENGINEER TO UNDERTAKE REACTIVE AND PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE FOR A GROWING COMPANY WITH A LUNCHTIME FINISH ON A FRIDAY ROLE: Mobile Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Engineer SALARY: £DOE plus Van, Enhanced Overtime, Phone, Laptop, Pension LOCATION: Based 50% at depot / 50% traveling to clients (working away 2/3 nights a weeks) HOURS: 7am – 4pm (Mon – Thurs) & 7am – 1pm Friday – 40 hr week with some call out and weekend work as enhanced overtime PREVIOUS ROLES: You may have been a Service Technician, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Technician Mechanical Engineer, Plant Fitter, Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Technician ROLE: Mobile Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Engineer As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for conducting both reactive and preventive maintenance (PPM) on large static capital plant equipment, ensuring optimal performance, utilization, and availability. You will also carry out repairs on equipment, including mechanical hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, and valves. A strong commitment to health and safety is essential, as you’ll be expected to consistently apply safety protocols and use the appropriate PPE throughout all maintenance activities. EXPERIENCE: Mobile Maintenance Technician / Mechanical Engineer Successful candidate will have completed a recognised mechanical engineering or general engineering apprenticeship or training (City and Guilds, NVQ, ONC, HNC, HND or Degree) or in a relevant discipline. Any Electrical experience a plus You will have experience working on large static capital plant equipment such as Conveyors, Balers, Compactors, Shredders, Pelletisers, Crushers, Screeners, Quarry Equipment, Production Equipment etc. Health and safety qualifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH beneficial but non-essential PREVIOUS ROLES: You may have been a Service Technician, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Technician Mechanical Engineer, Plant Fitter, Field Service Engineer, Maintenance Technician
