The role of Sales & Business Support Manager: The purpose of this position is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the key accounts sales team. Once a client has agreed on an event sponsorship package (sometimes across multiple events), your role would be to manage the post-sale administration, process, and relationship with these key sponsors (all of which would be large pharmaceutical clients). You would coordinate and manage the delivery of their package. This is a highly regulated sector and there are many potential issues around compliance. Therefore, you would work with both the client and internal stakeholders to ensure that contracts are accurate, signed, and compliant before ensuring that the commercial solution they have paid for goes ahead without any issues. You will be dealing with multiple internal departments to ensure the smooth and compliant delivery of their commercial package. This role requires close collaboration with the marketing, operations, sales, and finance teams, as well as direct communication with clients to deliver outstanding event experiences. You will also help with other sales support tasks such as putting together sales decks, marketing materials, and similar.
Requirements for this Sales & Business Support Manager role:
- 2+ yearsβ experience as a Sales Support Manager / Project Manager
- Outgoing, confident, and polished
- Confident enough to challenge a client about aspects of the contract, if required
- Healthcare sector experience would be a bonus
- Event sector experience would be desirable
- Strong attention to detail
- Good at multi-tasking lots of admin requirements in a fast-paced environment
- They are not looking at anyone from a sales background
