We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer with a background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering to join a close-knit engineering team. You’ll play a vital role in the full product lifecycle — from initial concept and design through to manufacture, testing, and support. Collaborate with the engineering team to design and develop CBRN air filtration and air conditioning systems for military platforms.
- Create and review detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings (ProE/Creo experience preferred).
- Support manufacturing with technical guidance, fault-finding, and testing procedures.
- Occasionally travel within the UK or internationally for fieldwork, installation, or customer support.
Degree qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years’ industry experience in a design engineering role.
- Proficient in 3D CAD systems - ProE/Creo preferred.
- Experience within the defence, automotive, or industrial equipment sectors is advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexibly when required.
