We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established, highly respected ADHD/ASD service for an experienced and passionate CAMHS Nurse Prescriber to join their multidisciplinary team. This is a full-time, permanent role based in a dedicated clinical setting, working Monday to Friday, with a clear structure that includes diagnostic clinic sessions and protected administrative time.

The Service: This innovative neurodevelopmental service is led by a paediatric doctor with specialist expertise in ADHD and ASD. The team is known for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care for children and young people, with a strong emphasis on compassionate, patient-centred practice.

Role Overview: As the Nurse Prescriber, you will play a key role in both the assessment and ongoing management of children and adolescents with ADHD. The ideal candidate will be a qualified Nurse Prescriber or Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) with previous experience in CAMHS or neurodevelopmental services.

Key Duties Include:

  • Running diagnostic clinics for ADHD/ASD assessments
  • Conducting medication reviews and prescribing for ADHD/ASD management
  • Offering clinical support and psychoeducation to families and carers
  • Collaborating within a small, close-knit multidisciplinary team
  • Allocated admin time to ensure high standards of documentation and follow-up
  • Contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RMN, RSCN, RNLD or equivalent)
  • Nurse Prescriber or NMP qualification (essential)
  • Experience in CAMHS, ADHD/ASD, or neurodevelopmental services
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach to care

Salary & Schedule:

  • Up to £54,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Full-time 37 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday only
  • Clinic-based role with a healthy mix of clinical and non-clinical time
