A leading FMCG are looking for a naturally curious and proactive individual to transform data into actionable business insights.
In this role, you will:
Set up for success the way they buy, track & report consumer sell-out data:
Buy:
- Act as the key contact for consumer sales data suppliers across Europe (e.g., IQVIA, Nielsen, Circana).
- Lead data buying harmonisation by defining the appropriate categories and channels across markets, ensuring consistency across Europe.
- Identify synergies across countries and systems to drive standardisation.
- Provide support to local teams with any questions or additional requests related to various categories.
Track:
- Retrieve, combine, and structure consumer sales data across categories from local commercial teams and internal platforms.
- Serve as the data visualization expert by developing dynamic, accessible, and insightful reports and dashboards using tools like PowerBI and Excel.
- Follow up on deployed reports and dashboards to continuously improve user adoption and enhance insights.
- Support local teams in transitioning to more dynamic, insightful, and visual tools for data-driven decision-making through advice and coaching.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement, collaborating with technical teams to implement solutions and set up connections to underlying databases (e.g., Nielsen, IQVIA) while building data models.
Report:
- Interpret and summarise data from local and central platforms, providing actionable insights and recommendations that create one cohesive source of truth across categories and markets.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather information and understand business needs to define the right reporting mechanics.
- Lead reporting presentations for leadership and commercial teams.
- Be a trusted business partner to leadership, delivering insightful analysis and providing ongoing support to end-users by answering questions and evaluating feedback.
Requirements:

- A fast learner with the ability to quickly adapt to new software and technologies needed for analysis.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to understand the needs of end-users, ensuring the right data points and visualizations for high report adoption rates.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and handle multiple priorities.
- Leadership and stakeholder management abilities to influence peers, leadership, external partners, and local teams.
- Advanced Excel and PowerBI skills. Experience with syndicated data sources like IQVIA, IRI, or Nielsen is preferred but not required.
Must-Haves:
- Limited travel (~10% of the time).
- At least 8 years of experience in business analytics, specifically with data visualization, ideally in FMCG, Consumer Health, or Retail environments.
