The Business Reporting Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and delivering accurate and timely reports and dashboards that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role will collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, ensure data accuracy, and develop scalable reporting solutions using business intelligence tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and develop the weekly MI pack covering operational and commercial reports covering customer acquisition, churn, ARPU, network performance and installations.
- Weekly business reporting and presentation back to senior leadership team.
- Generate insights and recommend actions to improve performance.
- Lead the development and delivery of other business performance reports, KPIs, dashboards and ad hoc analyses.
- Manage a team of two analysts to ensure consistent and high-quality reporting output.
- Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify data needs and provide actionable insights.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for reporting systems (Salesforce).
- Design and implement automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor data integrity and work with data engineering teams to resolve data quality issues.
- Train and support end-users on reporting tools and dashboard usage.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve data visualization, accessibility, and usability.
- Own data feeding into the board report, reports to banks and reports to other external parties.
- Support regulatory and compliance reporting where needed (e.g. Ofcom).
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in business reporting, analytics or business intelligence.
- 2+ years of managerial or team lead experience.
Skills & Competencies:
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency with reporting and data visualisation.
- SQL experience with data querying and manipulation would be advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a demanding environment.
