An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented MEP Revit Technician to become part of a multi-disciplinary global MEP consultancy, with room for career growth and the opportunity to work on international projects. Role Responsibilities:
- The Revit MEP Coordinator will work closely with Mechanical, Electrical, and Public Health teams to develop detailed, coordinated 3D models and supporting 2D drawings.
- The role involves interpreting engineering mark-ups and ensuring all MEP systems are effectively coordinated.
The Ideal Candidate:
- At least 5 years of experience in the Building Services industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Revit MEP; familiarity with Navisworks and AutoCAD is advantageous but not required.
- Strong experience in coordinating Revit models across various systems, including HVAC and pipework, with an understanding of clash detection.
- Familiarity with COBie (Construction Operations Building Information Exchange) standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- A collaborative approach, with strong communication skills and the ability to follow direction from senior engineers.
Main Duties:
- Managing and maintaining Revit MEP models for assigned projects.
- Helping to develop and refine internal Revit procedures, standards, and families.
- Collaborating with engineers to produce coordinated 3D models and detailed 2D drawings.
- Working directly with clients to provide fully coordinated models and drawings, attending meetings to ensure successful project delivery.
- Supporting and mentoring Junior Revit Technicians as part of their development.
