Our client operates in the manufacturng sector and is seeking an experienced H&S Officer to join their team. As Health and Safety Officer youll play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing the companys health and safety improvement plans. Reporting to the department lead and working as part of a larger H&S team, this role involves collaborating closely with site managers, supervisors, and operators to drive positive changes in risk reduction efforts. Key responsibilities will include:- Implementing risk improvement action plans to support operational improvement Supporting risk assessment activities Analysing and reporting health and safety performance to internal and external clients Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation Developing the occupational health and safety management system Coaching employees to enhance their development and understanding of Health & Safety To be considered for this role you will need to have;- Experience and understanding of Health & Safety Excellent communication skills Knowledge of audits and ISO A qualification such as Nebosh or IOSH would be desirable Knowledge of manufacturing would be desirable Please note this is an office based role so the ability to commute to Alfret…
