We are working with a Private Hospital in central London near the famous Harley Street district in their search for a new Deputy Theatre Manager. This Hospital has 4x operating Theatres and covers everything from Gynaecology, Plastics, Orthopaedics and more.
The Role
The Head of Surgical Services is seeking a Deputy to work alongside the Theatre Manager. The team is made up of Theatre Practitioners, Senior Theatre Practitioners and Team Leaders that you will manage and you will be expected to step up in absence of the Theatre Manager. In addition, your role will ensure the smooth running of the Theatre Department including effective Theatre utilisation, efficient Theatre lists, Staffing, Rotas and scrubbing in when required.
The Candidate
This role would suit a very experienced RGN or ODP who can demonstrate their ability to lead large teams in Theatre environments. You will need to come from a Scrub background in case the need arises for you to be hands on clinical. It would be beneficial if you have held a Senior Theatre position/Deputy Theatre Manager role within a Private Hospital although all Scrub experience will be considered.
Salary and Benefits
The salary on offer for this position is between £40,000 – £45,000 dependent on experience. In addition are several benefits including private pension scheme, 25 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday, opportunities to increase salary with on-call, season ticket loans, employee discounts etc.
