This is a hybrid senior sales leadership role that combines hands-on key account management with the opportunity to lead and coach a small, experienced sales team. The focus is twofold:
- Nurturing and expanding the business's top 20 long-term customer accounts
- Driving performance and support across the sales function
This is a key commercial role, responsible for sustaining high levels of service, identifying new growth opportunities, and ensuring the team is aligned with the company’s high standards and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing and developing the company’s top 20 high-value strategic accounts
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting a small sales team
- Creating account growth strategies in line with evolving client needs
- Engaging regularly with stakeholders across Renewables, Defence, Oil & Gas, and Industrial markets
- Collaborating with engineering and production teams to ensure technical alignment
- Delivering accurate sales forecasts and contributing to long-term commercial strategy
A basic salary of £60 – 70,000 is on offer with a bonus scheme, company car/allowance and associated benefits. You’ll have a hybrid working environment with a well-established senior management team who have significant industry experience.
You’ll be a confident, commercially focused solutions-led sales professional with a passion for long-term customer partnerships. You’ll bring strategic account management experience with either experience or a desire to run/build a sales team.
