We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Geo-Environmental Associate to join our team, where you will help manage and deliver environmental solutions for land development and remediation projects.

As a Geo-Environmental Associate, you will take on a leadership role in managing the environmental aspects of land assessments, remediation, and development projects. Your duties will include:

  • Managing and overseeing site investigations, contaminated land assessments, and environmental risk assessments.
  • Designing and implementing remediation strategies to mitigate contamination risks for development sites.
  • Providing technical leadership to the team on geo-environmental matters, including soil and groundwater analysis, pollutant linkage assessments, and regulatory compliance.
  • Leading project teams and coordinating the delivery of work within time and budget constraints.
  • Collaborating with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Writing and reviewing technical reports, including Phase I and Phase II environmental assessments, remediation method statements, and validation reports.
  • Supporting business development activities, contributing to tender submissions, and identifying new business opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience (8+ years) in geotechnical or geo-environmental consultancy, particularly in land contamination and remediation.
  • Proven track record in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • In-depth knowledge of contaminated land regulations and experience in preparing remediation strategies.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience in liaising with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Chartered or working towards chartership (e.g., CEnv, CGeol, CSci) is desirable.
