My client, a global leader within the aerospace industry, is on the hunt to find a fantastic Lead Design Engineer!

Role and Responsibilities:

  • In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and support activities of actuation products (hydraulic and electro-mechanical).
  • You will be fully involved in the full product life cycle for major projects for all major customers.
  • Development and modification of design documentation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and support problem-solving and corrective action activities to resolve design issues, ATP failures, and customer returns/failures.
  • Design of test rigs and equipment.

Experience or Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with extensive industry experience.
  • Experience of designing from customer specifications using 2D & 3D design tools, preferably SolidWorks.
  • Proficient experience of designing mechanical and/or hydraulic products, preferably within an aviation environment.
