Envision Racing is a UK based Formula E Team competing in the FIA Formula E World Championship and has the requirement for a qualified and experienced Number 2 Mechanic to be employed full time. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to thrive in this challenging yet highly rewarding role.

Reporting to the Team & Sporting Director and Chief Mechanic, the responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and maintenance of the front end of a Formula E car
  • Assisting the Number 1 mechanic during Race prep, including sub-assembly and car set up
  • Keeping a record of car part life numbers as well as working to build sheets & technical drawings
  • Assisting with pit equipment builds, service and repairs

Must have previous relevant experience in F3, F2, FE or WEC. Attend all tracks tests and race events.

  • A proven ability to work to tight deadlines in a group or alone and remain calm under pressure

This position is based at Silverstone in our purpose-built workshop with free onsite parking, an on-site gym and access to peaceful woodland surroundings. The position requires flexibility and a willingness to travel regularly.
