Territory: Northern Home Counties/East Midlands/South Central
Package: £35-£45K basic (maybe wiggle room) + bonus 18K OTE, car/allowance, pension, healthcare, holiday
Main purpose of the job: As Business Manager you will develop new customers and sell a unique therapy in topical oxygen and Dermal Matrix - covering customers in both the community and acute settings i.e. Tissue Viability Nurses, Practice Nurses, Podiatrist, Community Nurses, Procurement, etc. This is an autonomous role that will give you ownership for the business in your geographical area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to position advanced wound care solutions (topical oxygen) within the treatment pathway and develop the business.
- Build strong relationships with customers by following up on trials requests and maximising sales opportunities.
- Generate and pursue leads to achieve department sales targets.
- Lead clinical evaluation at sites across the territories.
- Provide formal presentations for customers and potential customers.
- Support customers regarding clinical or usability questions related to the therapy.
- Monitor proper application and utilization of the therapy with treatments.
- Educate the health care team on product use, application, and documentation needs.
- Work closely with clinical specialists of the manufacturer.
- Participate and represent the company at marketing and sales events such as trade shows, conferences and meetings; prepare associated reports and presentations.
- Maintain CRM system in order to capture all relevant customer information to support sequential selling.
- Provide product feedback from the field to R&D and the development of products.
Skills and qualifications required:
- Ideally you will come from a surgical wound care background with experience selling into MaxFax, Plastic and Vascular departments but this is not a prerequisite.
- Relevant work experience and track record of sales in the wound care space or other associated surgical arenas.
- Understanding of treatment pathways and reimbursement within the NHS or applicable health system.
- Excellent presentation skills; including the confidence to present to large groups in a face to face and virtual environment.
- Proactively communicates and takes responsibility.
- Solid experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience in meeting tight deadlines, prioritising tasks and multi-tasking to deliver results.
- Ability to solve challenges and propose solutions.
- Driving license.
- Availability to travel within the UK.
Training: Full Training will be given by the company and manufacturer. Any other identified training needs will also be completed.
