About the Company

I'm working with a leading Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) contractor renowned for delivering high-quality engineering solutions across the commercial, healthcare, education and retail sectors. They are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical installation works from pre-construction through to project completion
  • Lead the delivery team on-site, including supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Liaise with main contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
  • Monitor project progress, reporting regularly on timelines, cost control, and resources
  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety, CDM regulations, and company procedures
  • Oversee procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring alignment with project timelines
  • Manage financial performance, including variations, valuations, and final accounts
  • Attend project meetings and provide technical expertise where required

Key Requirements

  • Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, AM2, 18th Edition)
  • SMSTS/SSSTS and valid CSCS card
  • Experience managing commercial, retail, educational or industrial projects (£1m+)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project demands
