CIS Security is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Security Officer / Team Leader. This role is ideal for someone ready to take the next step in their security career, with the opportunity to lead the weekend team and act as a key ambassador for CIS Security. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality guarding and exceptional customer service to both our clients and service users, representing CIS Security with professionalism and integrity.

Position details
- Position: Corporate Security Officer / Team Leader
- Location: London (EC2A 1BR)
- Pay Rate: £13.85 (Officer) and £14.22 (Team Leader) per hour
- Hours: 60 hours per week (24hrs Team Leader rate and 36hrs Security Officer rate)
- Shifts: Friday to Tuesday – Nights
Job Requirements
- SIA Licence required
- 5* Corporate Security, Concierge or Front of House experience for at least 1 year is an advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service skills
- Must have an excellent command of English Language & Good IT Skills
- Have good email etiquette
- Reliable, Responsible and Punctual
- A friendly, professional, courteous, and outgoing character with the ability to take the lead
- To take pride in appearance at all times, ensuring immaculate presentation
- To take pride in conduct of duties onsite
- Flexible approach to duties and additional events when held on site
- First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence are desirable
Job Responsibilities
- Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both clients and service users
- Work in a team or alone; act proactively and think on your feet
- Remain calm under pressure and handle confrontational situations professionally
- Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally; able to stand/walk during shift
- Confident in writing detailed incident and shift reports
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanour with open body language
- Ensure visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing exceptional customer service
- Write emails effectively and communicate appropriately
- Exercise command and control and be an effective communicator across peer groups and management levels
- Understand the Corporate Escalation Process and escalate information during emergencies
- Conduct opening & closing procedures, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering calls, emergency procedures, logging deliveries, and monitoring CCTV
- Deal with emergency situations using initiative
