About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated and professional Pharmacy Dispensers and Pharmacists to join our team in the West Midlands. This role offers a structured shift pattern and is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the local community through high-quality pharmacy services.

Shift Pattern:

  • Hours: 09:00 – 21:00 (12-hour shifts)
  • Pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off rotation
  • Includes weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis

Key Responsibilities:

  • For Pharmacy Dispensers:
  • Accurately dispense prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist
  • Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Support daily pharmacy operations, including stock management
  • Handle OTC sales and provide basic health advice
  • Adhere to SOPs and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • For Pharmacists:
    • Ensure safe, effective, and legal dispensing of medications
    • Deliver clinical services (e.g., MURs, NMS, vaccinations)
    • Lead and support the pharmacy team during shifts
    • Maintain GPhC compliance and uphold professional standards
    • Engage with patients and healthcare providers to promote health

    Requirements:

    • Pharmacy Dispenser:
    • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Pharmacy Services (or working towards it)
    • Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is an advantage
    • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
  • Pharmacist:
    • GPhC registered with a valid license to practice in the UK
    • MPharm degree (or equivalent)
    • Confident in leading a team and delivering clinical services
    • Experience in community pharmacy preferred
