Exciting opportunity to join a renowned global organisation as an Account Manager specialising in Chromatography (U/HPLC & GC), Mass spectrometry products and associated consumables. Covering accounts in the North of England, the territory will have particular focus on accounts in the North East of England (Newcastle & Middlesbrough). You will primarily be responsible for conducting the entire sales process from initial contact, relationship building, quote/proposal writing and securing the order. Accounts will cover all applications areas of analytical chemistry including pharma/biotechs, food, environmental, forensics and other analytical laboratories. Day-to-day account management duties, includes maintaining contact with customers, arranging visits/video calls, attending product demonstrations, producing quotes, closing sales and handling potential technical enquires. The ultimate goal is to hit & surpass territory revenue targets, through the sale of capital equipment and related consumables. Core products include HPLC, LC-MS, GC, GC-MS and high-resolution mass spec. This role will suit someone has either hands-on LC/MS or HPLC/GC experience looking for a technical role away from the lab, or someone with previous scientific sales experience – selling to similar clients (not necessarily similar products) looking for a new challenge.
