We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our client’s team at their state-of-the-art facility based in Tewkesbury on a permanent basis. Our client designs and manufactures complex mechanical products for global application in the aerospace and defence sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support APQP integration and implementation into NPI process.
  • Support advanced quality planning activities.
  • Incorporate customer requirements into NPI processes.
  • Integrate lessons learned into APQP activities.
  • Coordinate and monitor PPAP activities.
  • Identify and implement improvements in manufacturing processes.
  • Support cross functional teams in non-conformances and corrective actions.
  • Support external compliance audits.
  • Resolve corrective actions raised during audits.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in general APQP and PPAP application.
  • Experience of working in an AS9100 environment.
  • Knowledge and practical experience with PFMEA.
  • Experience in supporting NPI.
  • Effective communication internally and externally.
