We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join our client’s team at their state-of-the-art facility based in Tewkesbury on a permanent basis. Our client designs and manufactures complex mechanical products for global application in the aerospace and defence sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support APQP integration and implementation into NPI process.
- Support advanced quality planning activities.
- Incorporate customer requirements into NPI processes.
- Integrate lessons learned into APQP activities.
- Coordinate and monitor PPAP activities.
- Identify and implement improvements in manufacturing processes.
- Support cross functional teams in non-conformances and corrective actions.
- Support external compliance audits.
- Resolve corrective actions raised during audits.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in general APQP and PPAP application.
- Experience of working in an AS9100 environment.
- Knowledge and practical experience with PFMEA.
- Experience in supporting NPI.
- Effective communication internally and externally.
