Team / Division Overview: The Passive Portfolio Management Team manages X-trackers ETFs and mandates across Equity and Fixed Income, with a global presence in 17 locations and approximately 900 professionals.
Role Details: As an Equity Portfolio Manager, you will:
- Manage daily index equity portfolios, including construction and trade execution.
- Support client flows efficiently.
- Manage investment and risk exposures, and develop hedging strategies.
- Optimize portfolio strategies to minimize tracking error and ensure accurate trading during corporate actions and cash flows.
- Participate in projects to improve efficiency and automation.
- Collaborate with trading desks for optimal execution.
- Contribute to product development.
- Oversee NAV, portfolio reconciliation, and performance analysis.
Candidate Requirements:
- Strong financial product knowledge in Equities, Fixed Income, or Commodities, with exposure to ETFs or derivatives.
- Experience in Portfolio Management, Trading, or Index Research, with skills in portfolio construction, performance attribution, and ETF servicing.
- Knowledge of index methodologies from providers like FTSE, S&P, MSCI.
- Proficiency in Python, VBA, Excel, and familiarity with Bloomberg, Reuters, Factset, Aladdin, and optimization systems.
- Understanding of rebalance trading strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
