An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assets Officer within a leading housing organisation based in Edinburgh. This vacancy is to cover long term sick and will be a rolling monthly contract.

The organisation supports the housing needs of vulnerable and disabled persons in the local area, providing safe and high quality living arrangements to those who need it.

You will be responsible for the upkeep and running of various sites across Edinburgh, ensuring that maintenance and repairs programmes run smoothly and on schedule, whilst falling in line with budgets. You will join an established team where training and guidance will be provided.

The ideal candidate will come from a housing background and hold experience with property maintenance, repairs and overall assets. Candidates from an estates background or similar may be considered.

This role is offering a strong hourly rate, circa £35-37k and flexi/hybrid working options.
