Santara Group is a global endurance sports management, content and activation agency representing world leading athletes and brands. At Santara, we focus on three key areas:
- Athlete & Creator Management
- Brand Partnerships
- Content Creation
We represent 40+ world class triathletes, cyclists and runners including multiple world and Olympic champions. Santara is also growing a roster of highly credible endurance content creators. To support our rapidly growing business, we are looking for an experienced talent agent who can work with our existing clients across talent and brands to create new commercial opportunities, as well identifying and pursuing new commercial opportunities for Santara. A deep understanding of the commercial world of sport and the endurance sports world is a must.
This role is split into three core areas:
- Manage a roster of athletes and creators
- Create new commercial opportunities for Santara and our clients
- Work across our current talent and brand programmes to create new commercial opportunities
Responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day management of athlete and creators across all elements including brand partners
- Sell commercial opportunities across our talent and brand partnership programmes
- Identify and pursue new commercial business opportunities for Santara (endemic and non-endemic)
- Negotiate new commercial contracts and partnerships for Santara and our clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Santara clients and other stakeholders
- Identify and sign new clients for Santara
Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements, Education:
- 5+ years in the sport’s commercial world with a true understanding of the endurance sports
- Track record of creating commercial revenue in sports
- Show examples of working in a team, as a team player
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to meet deadlines and drive tasks to completion
- Strong communicator - able to build effective relationships remotely and face to face
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proactive attitude with strong attention to detail
Employment Package:
- Annually Base Salary - £50,000+ (depending on experience)
- Annual Bonus/Performance Programme
