Are you the linchpin that keeps large scale solar operations running on time, on budget, and at peak efficiency? We’re partnering with a forward thinking renewable energy business to find an experienced Senior Project Scheduler (or Planner, if that’s what you call yourself) with a proven track record in utility scale solar farm projects.

This isn’t just about plugging tasks into a system and hoping the engineers turn up, it’s about owning the schedule, driving performance, and delivering on high value contracts with strategic foresight.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building and managing robust schedules for engineers and field teams, ensuring all works are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Liaising daily with project managers, operational teams, subcontractors, and clients to keep everyone aligned and informed.
  • Monitoring, reporting, and optimising project delivery, spotting issues before they happen, improving workflows, and keeping the whole operation running smoothly.
  • Working closely with commercial teams to understand contract deliverables and make sure your planning drives the best value and service levels possible.
  • Constantly challenging the status quo, refining internal processes, and acting as a key operational advisor across the business.

What we’re looking for:

  • Strong experience in scheduling/planning utility-scale solar farms or similar large-scale energy infrastructure projects.
  • A natural problem solver with an eye for process improvement and performance optimisation.
  • Someone commercially savvy, not just planning tasks, but thinking about how to maximise contract value and efficiency.
  • Confident communicator, able to manage internal and external relationships and influence decision making.
  • Proficient with project planning software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar), and used to working in dynamic, high value environments.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to have real impact, not just manage schedules, but shape how major solar projects are delivered.
