I am working with a defence consultancy that needs an SC Cleared 1* Commercial Director / Head of Commercial to lead a high-profile Ministry of Defence project, working on a cutting-edge military platform.
Key Requirements:
- Senior commercial and procurement experience within the defence sector.
- Extensive experience in senior commercial and procurement roles within the UK MOD or defence sector, including positions such as Commercial Director, Head of Commercial, Commercial Manager, or equivalent.
- Strong background in managing large-scale defence projects, ideally with military platforms such as tanks, submarines, helicopters, and other complex systems.
- Proven experience working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders within the MOD or other defence organisations, driving strategic commercial objectives and ensuring effective contract management.
- 1* Military Officer experience (e.g., Brigadier, Commodore, or Senior Defence Official, Senior Military Officer).
- Proven track record managing large-scale defence projects.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Active SC clearance (Sole UK National).
- Experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
