Warehouse Storeman
CV Labels are excited to announce an opportunity for a Warehouse Storeman to join our dynamic team in Irvine, Scotland. This permanent position offers stability and growth for the right candidate. If you possess Warehouse Storeman experience in a manufacturing background, we welcome you to apply. Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Ability to work methodically and quickly
- Unloading deliveries from suppliers.
- Excellent time management skills and exceptional work ethic.
- Checking and receiving goods delivered to the warehouse, ensuring they match purchase orders and are in good condition. Raising any issues with deliveries.
- Storing goods in an organized and safe manner.
- Issuing of material to production.
- Packing and preparing of customer orders for shipping.
- Monitoring of store areas, and reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
- Follows good manufacturing practices and required work safety practices.
- Maintains a clean and safe working environment.
- Restocking bin locations from bulk storage locations.
- Requesting replenishment of some stock products.
- Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset and assisting in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
- Teamwork skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic IT skills and a working knowledge of inventory management systems would be desirable.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Good physical fitness.
- Ability to load goods safely.
- Good Computer skills is essential.
- Attention to detail.
- Import/Export Knowledge is helpful but not essential.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary is between £24,000 – £26,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Holidays: 29 days holiday including bank holidays.
- You will be auto-enrolled into the Company Pension Scheme and our WPA family health plan.
- Working hours: Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30 and Friday 08:00 – 13:30.
