Network Engineer £550 – £675 Inside IR35 – 12 months Contract Banking/Financial Services Join a dynamic team as a Network Engineer and play a pivotal role in supporting and enhancing network communications. This position focuses on implementing authorisation records for network and firewall changes and ensuring seamless LAN/WAN operations. Key Responsibilities: Perform LAN and firewall administration. Monitor system reports and resolve status errors. Oversee network moves, adds, and changes (MACs). Manage and prioritise network fault tickets. Configure and maintain firewalls, adjusting networks for capacity demands. Build and test network configuration prototypes. Coordinate network maintenance, upgrades, and problem-solving. Qualifications/Experience (Desirable): Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Checkpoint CCSA/CCSE. Familiarity with Netscout, eHealth, Spectrum, SolarWinds, packet sniffer tools. Experience with incident management and financial institution support.
