One of my top clients is currently on the lookout for a Temporary Works Design Engineer. My client is a well-known RC Frame / Demolition / Groundworks contractor who has an outstanding reputation within the industry. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in temporary works design, with at least 5+ years of experience across various types of temporary works design including demolition and cut and carve structures.

Responsibilities:

  • To provide design output and methodology for the construction and removal of Temporary Works.
  • To liaise as necessary with the site Temporary Works Coordinator.
  • Provide support to the Head Office tendering team.
  • Site visits to discuss the methodology or carry out a supplementary inspection.

What you need:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Chartered desired but not essential.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
