As a Frontend Engineer, you will play a key role in developing user-friendly, high-performance, and responsive web applications. You will work closely with product managers, backend engineers, and designers to create modern, feature-rich applications that integrate seamlessly with cloud-based services. You will leverage your expertise in React, TypeScript, and AWS to build scalable and maintainable solutions that power financial applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive and intuitive web interfaces using React and TypeScript.
- Work with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and cloud-based services (AWS).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and backend engineers, to deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Stay up to date with the latest frontend technologies and best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the team.
Proven experience of 3+ years working with frontend technologies, specifically React and TypeScript, in a professional setting.
- Strong understanding of modern JavaScript, ES6+, and frontend best practices.
- Familiarity with AWS services (such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development (TDD).
- Familiarity with frontend build tools like Webpack, Babel, and NPM/Yarn.
- A passion for problem-solving, optimization, and writing high-quality, maintainable code.
- Experience with state management libraries like Redux or React Context.
- Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and frameworks like Next.js.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
- Experience in the fintech industry or with financial applications is a plus.
