Morson Talent are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable QEHS Advisor to join our clients Transport division on a permanent basis in London, with travel required across the UK. A company car or car allowance will be provided, and night shifts are also permitted as part of this role.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in the rail industry who can hit the ground running and has demonstrable experience particularly in behavioural safety, and ideally within Network Rail or London Underground environments.

About the Role:

Reporting to the QEHS Manager, you will help drive the Transport business to achieve best-in-class Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and Assurance standards. You will support their commitment to comply with UK legislation, European Directives, and client requirements while upholding operational excellence.

You’ll lead and contribute to maintaining robust health and safety systems, ensuring a proactive safety culture that supports business efficiency and minimises risk.

Key Deliverables:

  • Provide expert QEHS support across Metro and Rail environments
  • Ensure compliance with all QEHS legislation, client, and stakeholder requirements
  • Host regular supplier QEHS meetings and communications
  • Lead incident investigations (accidents, near misses, environmental, etc.) and implement improvements
  • Support hazard analysis, risk assessments and implement protective measures
  • Produce reports to demonstrate continuous improvement across contracts
  • Drive delivery of QEHS KPIs
  • Create and deliver engaging Toolbox Talks, bulletins, newsletters, and training programmes
  • Ensure staff and supplier training is relevant, compliant, and effective

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage QEHS systems aligned with Integrated Management System
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
  • Challenge the status quo to support innovation and efficiency
  • Promote a positive, engaging QEHS culture
  • Conduct Behavioural Based Safety (BBS) visits and second-party audits
  • Review RAMS against contract QEHS Plans
  • Provide hands-on support to contract/project managers and suppliers

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • Level 3–6 Health and Safety Management qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in Behavioural Based Safety
  • In-depth understanding of Network Rail (NR) and London Underground (LU) industries
  • PTS and ICI (NR & TfL) certifications desirable
  • Member of IOSH (or working towards)
  • Excellent interpersonal, reporting, and communication skills
