Main Responsibilities:
- Processing Invoices
- Match, batch, and code invoices.
- Check invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Ensure correct VAT treatment.
- Reconciling Supplier Statements
- Regularly reconcile supplier accounts to make sure everything matches.
- Chase missing invoices or resolve any discrepancies.
- Payment Runs
- Prepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs.
- Set up BACS, CHAPS, or cheque payments.
- Dealing with Supplier Queries
- Handle calls/emails from suppliers regarding payments or missing invoices.
- Resolve disputes promptly and professionally.
- Maintaining Accurate Records
- Update and maintain the purchase ledger.
- Keep all financial documents organised for audits.
- Supporting Month-End/Year-End
