An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal or Associate Sustainability Consultant with a focus on Energy to join a dynamic team in either Bournemouth or Reading. This role is perfect for a passionate professional looking to make a significant impact in the field of sustainability.

Undertake a range of modelling and analysis, including embodied carbon of materials, circular economy opportunities, building performance simulation, operational energy use, energy generation, and overheating.

Strategy Development: Lead the creation of sustainability and energy strategies.

Environmental Assessments: Oversee the delivery of environmental assessments (such as BREEAM, WELL, HQM) from early design stages through to completion.

Net Zero Goals: Support the drive towards achieving net zero whole life carbon in projects.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Relevant Experience: Proven experience in the built environment sector, particularly within a sustainability or engineering consultancy.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge in areas such as energy strategies, Building Regulations Part L assessments, in-use energy modelling, dynamic modelling for thermal comfort and overheating risk assessments, and net zero carbon strategies.
  • Education: A degree in a relevant field and a passion for creating sustainable solutions.
