Part Time Administrator – Maternity Cover Bridgnorth Maternity Cover for 9-12 months £16,656 / £11.44 p/h Ideally 28 hours a week – Hours to be discussed (could be school hours 5 days a week, or longer hours 3-4 days a week) This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading UK engineering company who supply products and services into various industries. The purpose of this placement will be to cover a maternity for an existing member of staff, working around 28 hours. The current member of staff does 9am – 4.30pm over 4 days per week, but they might consider school hours over 5 days if required. The benefits would also include 25 days annual leave and joining the company bonus scheme. The role reports into the Office Manager and the main purpose of the role is to provide high level administrative support to the team. Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to: * Answering a small-medium volume of calls through the company switchboard * Screening calls for management team to ensure only the relevant calls are passed through to the right people. * Reviewing emails and supporting with queries * Sending out correspondence to clients and ensuring information is recorded. * Maintaining and assisting with the organisation of online filing systems * Reception Duties – meet and greet visitors of all levels of seniority * Inventory control to include monthly stock counts * Office and stationery supply management * Scan and process documentation * Order processing management * Logistics support – domestic and international imports / exports * Act as a point of contact for customers, clients or suppliers via email, over the phone or in person * General administration duties to support the running of the office * Actively contribute to team meetings * Supporting the Office Manager * Working to company processes * Oversee housekeeping Skills and Experience * Previous office based administrative experience or a recent Graduate * Well organised with the ability to forward think and multitask * Have excellent written and verbal communication skills * Enthusiastic and proactive in your approach * Highly IT Literate – any experience using databases or other platforms would be advantageous * Have a good eye for detail * Not be afraid to work in a fast-paced environment and sometimes under pressure * Someone who thrives in working as part of a team but can get on with work independently * A professional and friendly demeanour The application process: Our mission is to support our clients in their creation of an equal, diverse and inclusive workforce.
