We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented BI Developer to support the BI function of a fast-paced and innovative Lloyd’s syndicate. You'll play a key role in maintaining and developing Power BI reporting solutions and data warehouse systems for internal and financial reporting. If you have a strong SQL background, experience in Power BI, and a basic understanding of the insurance market, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and developing BI solutions in cloud and on-premise environments
- Creating and maintaining Power BI reports and models
- Troubleshooting and triaging BI-related issues (Jira)
- Supporting ETL development and DevOps pipelines
- Monitoring and resolving daily job failures within agreed timeframes
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure data solutions meet business needs
- Maintaining data architecture, warehouses, and databases
- Ensuring full unit testing and change control before deployment
What We’re Looking For
- Strong SQL coding skills
- Experience in Power BI and Microsoft Office suite
- A basic understanding of the Insurance market
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive team player with strong communication skills
