We are a medium-sized, independent law firm based in Reading. We are particularly well known for our friendly and supportive culture, which has been a core part of our philosophy since we were founded over 30 years ago. The role involves joining our respected 6-partner Corporate team in a mid-level position. The team has a strong pipeline, with deal activity expected to continue throughout 2025 and beyond. They handle a broad mix of corporate work with specialist private equity and venture capital, banking and insolvency expertise. Our clients come from many different sectors and vary in size from start-ups to multi-national businesses. While their typical deal value ranges from £5m to £25m, they also assist with smaller and larger deals.
This role will enable you to build your career in a friendly and forward-thinking team which really encourages initiative and personal development. You’ll enjoy plenty of client contact, with supervision/support as required, and the opportunity for early responsibility and advancement based on individual merit. The team has a strong support network of assistants and dedicated junior level support to ensure work is resourced at the right level, meaning there is huge opportunity for a solicitor at this level to advance both their legal experience and achieve wider career goals.
With a hybrid policy in place, you will be required to attend the office three days a week as part of this role to ensure that you receive the best training, supervision and support to further aid the development of your career with the team and FSP generally.
