This role is hybrid, with 2 days per week in the Central London office. You must have 3+ years of B2B Events Marketing experience to be considered for this role.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a market leader in B2B publishing and conferences as an Events Marketing Manager. As the successful candidate, you will take a lead role in expanding the reach and revenue of 8 global conferences during an exciting growth phase for the company.

You will lead audience acquisition and marketing communications for the portfolio of conferences and awards, optimising existing strategies and introducing new ideas to drive growth. There will also be opportunities to travel to these events in the US, Asia and Europe.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of B2B Events marketing experience, preferably with experience in conferences
  • Strong focus on audience/delegate acquisition
  • Ideally experience working in the B2B tech, information services, telecoms, data or market intelligence sectors
  • Experience devising or influencing events pricing strategies is beneficial
  • Strong experience managing marketing for multiple events simultaneously, with a track record of meeting or exceeding audience acquisition targets
  • Confident use of Excel, CRM and Marketing Automation platforms (SalesForce & Pardot ideally)
  • Solid experience using social media marketing (ideally LinkedIn Ads)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Good eye for design and ability to produce high-quality marketing materials

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Develop and implement high calibre, coordinated marketing campaigns for multiple conferences and awards, including both free and paid delegate campaigns.
  • Utilise a mix of channels including but not limited to email, social media and content marketing, to maximise event visibility and registration.
  • Use intuitive lead-generation techniques for data capture of new prospects.
  • Devise and implement strategies to increase the return rate of event attendees.
  • Build and manage databases, keeping data up to date and relevant for every campaign.
  • Test, measure and evaluate channels and tactics, making adjustments to improve results.
  • Manage event websites, ensuring they are user-friendly and optimised for conversion.
  • Create and manage partnerships with media/association partners, as well as speakers and sponsors, to further expose the brand and maximise revenue.
  • Develop and deliver content marketing strategies that enhance the events’ social media.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Programming teams to produce marketing deliverables including sponsor material post-event reports.
  • Work with the Product Marketers to ensure event marketing aligns with the overall marketing strategy.
