The team
The Partner Operations team sits under the umbrella of Go-To-Market & Strategic Partnerships, alongside the Strategic Partnerships and the Partner Solutions team. Our overall mission is to supercharge our growth and ensure lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with our partners. This means we don’t only set out to delight our merchants with a fast and seamless funding experience, but also our partners with a great in life experience where they maintain oversight of crucial elements of the partnership such as overall performance, commission, and opportunities for automation.
The role
The Performance & Insights Analyst in the Partner Operations team will perform a vital role in driving growth and operational excellence within the team, taking ownership of facilitating data-driven decision-making. You’ll become an expert in the performance of our programmes and the team, uncovering impactful opportunities, developing business cases to support strategic initiatives, and owning internal and external reporting. This role requires a proactive approach to managing complex datasets, building impactful dashboards, and providing stakeholders with the information they need to drive growth and operational success, working closely with our Strategic Partner Managers and Partner Solutions team.
What you’ll be doing
- Enabling data-backed decision making: Proactively conduct partner-specific analysis to uncover opportunities, identify trends, and support key decision-making.
- Internal & external reporting: End-to-end ownership of our internal and external reporting, ensuring the team and our partners have access to high quality actionable insights.
- Growth and improvement: Building and refining business cases to evaluate partnerships and strategic initiatives, then supporting with execution.
- Thought leadership: Equip the team with the industry insight and knowledge to be thought leaders in the embedded finance space.
- Team performance: Be all over our team KPIs, understanding where we are on track or missing the mark, working with stakeholders to mitigate risks and seize opportunities.
What we think you’ll need
- Experience in data analytics: Proven track record in analytics, driving demonstrable change in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent technical skills: Experience in tools to query, manipulate and visualise data i.e., SQL, Excel, Looker, PBI.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills: Ability to analyse information, identify trends, and translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication & relationship management: Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and build effective relationships with internal teams and diverse external partners.
- Adaptability & organisational skills: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, growing environment, managing a diverse range of responsibilities and prioritising tasks effectively.
- Consultancy or start-up/scale-up experience: Ideally, experience in a consultancy background or working within a fast-paced start-up or scale-up environment, demonstrating agility and versatility.
