Our client, a mission-driven non-profit organisation in the healthcare sector, is seeking a Systematic Review Specialist to join their Clinical Standards Unit. This pivotal role involves contributing to the creation of robust clinical guidelines that support better patient care and health outcomes. The position combines systematic research, stakeholder collaboration, and administrative oversight, offering a flexible hybrid working setup.
Key Responsibilities:
Systematic Review Oversight:
- Undertake systematic reviews, draft protocols, extract and critically analyse data.
- Summarise findings through meta-analyses and evidence profiles to support guideline development groups (GDGs).
Research and Information Support:
- Assist with refining literature search strategies and managing references.
- Prepare and review manuscripts to ensure consistency with organisational standards.
Administrative and Project Support:
- Coordinate GDG meetings, including agenda preparation and communications.
- Maintain adherence to project timelines and oversee guideline submissions to journals.
General Contributions:
- Participate in relevant conferences and provide project support as needed.
Person Specification:
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in epidemiology, health sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- Proven track record in conducting systematic reviews and data synthesis.
