Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside a great local authority based in South Yorkshire . They are looking for an Governance Lawyer to join their expanding legal team. This is an excellent opportunity to work amongst the legal experts and progress your career. This role pays a competitive rate of £50-£60 an hour umbrella depending on experience. This role is on a Hybrid basis on a 3 month contract but potential to extend. Responsibilities as a Governance Lawyer: Able to handle high caseload in Governance Law from start to completion. Advising on the legal requirements and limitations of a committee system of governance (including area committees). Advising on the legal requirements of the Council’s constitution and contributing to a review of the constitution.
