Your new company: I am currently recruiting for an Accounting Manager to join an exciting and fast-growing Hospitality Company! This is a newly created role, reporting into the FD and managing a direct report. This role will support building out the finance functions, taking ownership over month-end duties, and enhancing financial strategy.

Your new role: Reporting to the Finance Director, your duties will include:

  • Ownership over month-end & year-end close
  • Financial statements under UK GAAP
  • Assisting to optimise financial operations
  • Managing 1 direct report, as well as overseeing the outsourced transaction finance function (AP, payroll etc.)
  • Partnering with teams across the business
  • Eventually this role will grow to support with commercial duties such as forecasting, analysis etc.

What you’ll need to succeed: The ideal candidate will either be:

  • ACA qualified, coming straight from a Top 10 Audit Practice with exposure to Hospitality/Retail Clients
  • ACA qualified Top 10 Audit background, looking for their 2nd move within the Hospitality/Retail sectors (or similar)
